Beer prices in the stadium
I bought 3 rounds on Saturday. 3 pints of Amstel cost me £10.50 before the game, £14 at half time and £12 after the game. What's that about? To be fair, I thought £10.50 was a decent price.

One of the things I like about the new place is plenty of space to hang around outside and have a beer etc

Very true HairyHammer. Although it's not like I can't afford it, just prefer to get 4 cans for about £4.50 from Chadwell Heath than pay that for 1 pint of Amstel.

Some of the prices they charge for food and drink over there is a blatant piss take, people should just avoid and within a month they'd make them more reasonable. What was it £8 for a burger? I'd prefer to go hungry.

Ain't worth getting in there early to save 10p on a pint

Born stickle

We all have to dance to the tune of our wallet, nothing to do with looking a Pikey, it is common sense.

Re: Beer prices in the stadium
£3.50 is decent but the £4.70 is a piss take. As I only get there about an hour before kick off I just get a few from offy, I drink them outside and just get one or two on the party deck once I'm in there.

It may look pikey but at nearly a fiver a go I'd prefer not to be ripped off. Make it worthwhile and I'll drink in the ground.

If you're really broke you can get a pint of Ruddles in the George, Wanstead for £2.05 then nip over the road to the station for a 10 minute journey to Stratford. Good place to meet up before the game

If the early game is televisied I wouldnt mind getting there for half 12.

Are crisps any cheaper, or do they remain at £19.50 a pack?

Or pay by card and earn yourself some air miles (and cost the Club a few pence for the Club haters out there).

Re: Beer prices in the stadium
Reasonably priced pre-match drink and the first 20 minutes, all was well.

Post match on the BML was good humoured and a happy place plus it makes the stroll to Stratford station a piece of cake, no crowd, no stop/go, seat on the train.

You can make the stadium work for you if you take the time to suss it out a bit.

COYI!!

Re: Beer prices in the stadium
It's 'dynamic pricing' - the idea is to get us in early and make us stay late to make more money. It's working with us - we've been having a post-match pint on the Party Deck to let the crowds die down.

Pre and post-match prices are good.

Actually, I was agreeing with you that the prices were all over the place - you get the prize for being touchy

True. It was '£14 something' but I couldn't remember and didn't think anyone would be so pedantic that they would bang on about it. Win a prize.

It's 4.70 during the game.

Which means Buster owes me £18.80 so far.

£3.50 before 2pm.

To be fair, that's really reasonable, and a good initiative for getting in the ground early. They have the early game on too, and a very drinkable beer as well. One of the few positives.
